God the eternal Son became incarnate in Jesus Christ. Through Him all things were created, the character of God is revealed, the salvation of humanity is accomplished, and the world is judged. Forever truly God, He became also truly human, Jesus the Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
In Christ's sinless life, His teachings, miracles, and compassion, the love and righteousness of God were made visible. He lived among us as one who serves, identifying fully with human need while remaining without sin. His death on the cross was a voluntary sacrifice, offered in our place to atone for sin and to reveal the depth of God's love.
Christ rose bodily from the grave, ascended to heaven, and now serves as our High Priest and Advocate. He will return in glory to complete the work of redemption and to establish God's eternal kingdom. In Jesus Christ alone we find the full revelation of God and the only way of salvation.
