How ASA UR Nyarugenge SDA handles personal information in the website and mobile app.
Last updated: 2026-07-24
Who we are
ASA UR Nyarugenge SDA (“we”, “us”) provides this website and mobile app so members can stay connected, submit Sabbath School reports, and receive church updates.
Information we collect
We collect account details you provide (name, email, phone), membership profile data, Sabbath School reports, attendance, and app preferences such as language, appearance, and reminder settings. If you enable biometrics, credentials stay on your device and are not stored on our servers for Face ID or fingerprint unlock.
How we use your information
We use your information to authenticate you, record Sabbath School reports, support pastoral and class care, send reminders you opt into, and improve the app experience. We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing
Information may be visible to authorized church leaders (for example class leaders and administrators) as needed for ministry. Public directory fields only appear when you choose to show them.
Security
Access uses authenticated sessions. Passwords are stored hashed. You can revoke access by signing out. Report suspected unauthorized access to the church office.
Your choices and account deletion
You may update your profile, control directory visibility, disable biometrics, and turn reminders on or off. From Profile → Delete account in the mobile app, you can permanently delete your login and personal profile data immediately. Some anonymized ministry records (such as historical attendance) may be retained for church administration.
