By His death on the cross Jesus triumphed over the forces of evil. He who subjugated the demonic spirits during His earthly ministry has broken their power and made certain their ultimate doom. Jesus' victory gives us victory over the evil forces that still seek to control us, as we walk with Him in peace, joy, and assurance of His love.
The Christian life is one of continual growth in Christ. Through daily communion with Him, study of the Word, prayer, and obedience, believers are strengthened to resist temptation and to reflect His character. The Holy Spirit enables us to put to death the deeds of the flesh and to live in the freedom of the sons and daughters of God.
Growing in Christ is not a solitary journey but a shared life in the community of faith. Together we encourage one another, bear one another's burdens, and witness to the transforming power of the gospel. As we abide in Christ, we bear fruit that glorifies God and blesses the world.
