Why we build
A permanent church for campus ministry
Our congregation has outgrown shared university spaces. A dedicated church building will strengthen evangelism, nurture students spiritually, and give ASSA Kigali a lasting home.
Space conflicts ended
Shared university worship halls clashed with exams, weddings, and other campus events — disrupting Sabbath worship and fellowship.
No university worship space
We are no longer permitted to worship inside university facilities and need a dedicated place to gather.
Nurturing student faith
A church building helps nurture the spiritual life of young men and women — for the good of the church and the nation.
ASSA Kigali needs a home
The ASSA Kigali region lacks a permanent operating center, including a pastor's office for coordinated campus ministry.

Campaign progress
Our building budget is 700M RWF. Through Tubaze Salomo concerts and ongoing giving, more than 120M RWF has been pledged and around 50M RWF paid — including land secured in Kigali.

As of 2024, ASA UR Nyarugenge is a vibrant family of baptized believers — students, university staff, and alumni — united in worship and mission.

Members come from CST, CMHS, CASS, and across the University of Rwanda Nyarugenge Campus, with alumni from KIST, KHI, UNR, and beyond.
